With news that the Workington FA Trophy game has been postponed due to the weather freezing the Borough Park pitch, Blue Square Premier club Rushden & Diamonds will play a friendly against St Neots Town.
This game will take place at the Hereward Teamwear United Counties League Premier Division club, on their 3G Astroturf Training Pitch at Rowley Park, with kick off at 3:00pm on Saturday – this of course is dependant on the weather.
St Neots are managed by former Manchester City, West Ham, Queens Park Rangers and Northern Ireland international Steve Lomas.
St Neots’ pitch is a full sized 3G Astroturf, which will not suffer the issues of freezing that so many other pitches around the country have succumbed to during the big chill.
Fans are welcome to come along and watch the game.
Entry is free, although please note it is a case of watching from the fence around the pitch, there is no seating or cover at the 3G pitch.
