Blundell Makes Permanent Bluebirds Switch

Blue Square Premier club Barrow have clinched the permanent signing of Gregg Blundell following his loan spell at Holker Street.
This was part of the agreement with league rivals Chester City and the player when the forward came to Holker Street just prior to the closure of the emergency loan window.
The paperwork was completed to allow Blundell to become a Barrow contract player ahead of the noon deadline on New Year's Day for FA Cup Third Round eligibility.
Blundell has penned an eighteen-month deal at Holker Street and scored his first goal for the club in the Boxing Day home draw with Gateshead.
