Blue Square North club Eastwood Town have brought in former Celtic and Liverpool defender Laurence Gaughan.
The 19-year-old Sheffield-born player started his career at Liverpool's famous Academy, where he earned call-ups to the Republic of Ireland under-17, under-18 and under-19 squads before moving onto Glasgow giants Celtic in 2007.
He was released from contract and joined home-town club Sheffield FC in September 2009.
He is a centre back who can play in midfield and adopted the Republic of Ireland - the birth country of his mother and father - as his national team.
He was described as a "footballing centre half who likes to bring the ball out of defence." by John Owens, his former manager at Liverpool.
