Blue Square South club Chelmsford City have adjusted their squad this week.
Former Ebbsfleet United central midfielder Jamie Hand has been released by the club with the best wishes of Head Coach Glenn Pennyfather and the rest of his management team.
Hand joined the Clarets towards the end of last season and impressed with his tough-tackling brand of play in the centre of the park. However, the ex-Watford youngster is no longer part of Pennyfather’s plans and has been allowed to seek football elsewhere.
Making an opposite move, however, is young prospect Junior Fatai-Somuyiwa, who has impressed sufficiently within the club’s younger ranks to have been promoted to Blue Square South forms.
Fatai-Somuyiwa is the latest individual to promote what is a blossoming youth structure at the club which aims to continue a production line to the first-team.
