Blue Square Premier club Mansfield Town will sign up on-trial striker Jason Bradley before the start of the new season if he continues to impress.
The 20-year-old frontman has been training at Field Mill since the players returned from their summer breaks.
So far, manager David Holdsworth has liked what he has seen from the powerful 6`3” former Darlington and Buxton player.
And the Stags boss admits he is tempted to bring in Bradley to compete with Daryl Clare, Rob Duffy, Jake Speight and Kyle Perry.
Holdsworth confirmed that he will wait until the opening day of the season against Crawley Town before naming his on-field skipper.
Winger Ryan Williams was last week named club captain, hot on the heels of signing a new and improved deal.
