Experienced Keeper Joins Staines
 
 
 
 

Blue Square Bet South strugglers Staines Town have signed experienced goalkeeper Danny Potter, who was released by Conference Premier side Newport County last week.

The former Exeter City, Chelmsford City, Weymouth, Canvey Island, Cambridge United and Torquay custodian joined the Exiles in May 2011.

Potter, 32, started his career as a youngster with Chelsea.

He was an unused substitute for Torquay in their npower League Two play-off final defeat to Stevenage in May 2011.
