Kettering Deducted Three Points
02-03-2012 11:42

A Panel of independent members recently considered a charge levied against Blue Square Bet Premier club Kettering Town FC for a breach of Rule 11, for failing to pay football creditors.

On 20th January 2012 the club was instructed to pay, or agree a payment plan with, its football creditors by 28th February 2012.

The Panel has now considered information provided by the club, and whilst acknowledging some creditors have been paid, the club has been unable to evidence it has fully achieved this requirement.

As a consequence the club has, with immediate effect, been deducted three points from its league table total.
