Blue Square Bet North club Hyde FC have announced the first wave of new signings for the upcoming season.

The Tigers have signed no less than ELEVEN new players, although two of them have already departed for League football.

Defender Nathan Martin, goalkeeper David Carnell, who is in his second spell with Hyde, and midfielders Luke Mack and Joseph Evans have all made the short journey from Tameside neighbours Curzon Ashton of the Evo-Stik League First Division North.

Winger Ryan Crowther and ex-Stockport County and Mossley defender Gianluca Havern (pictured) have signed from another Greater Manchester neighbor, Evo-Stik Northern Premier outfit Ashton United, while Callum Byrne, a midfielder from Rochdale who had a spell at Hyde at the end of last season, has also re-signed for the Tigers.

Joel Richardson, a defender formerly at Tranmere Rovers and Swedish side IK Hammarby, and another defender, Brett Renshaw, formerly with Bradford Park Avenue, have also joined.

However, midfielder Ryan Burge, who previously played for Doncaster Rovers, and ex-AFC Bournemouth striker Ben Williamson also registered with the Tigers following the link-up with Glenn Hoddle`s Academy, but have since left to join npower League Two side Port Vale.
