Three More for Maidenhead

Blue Square Bet South strugglers Maidenhead United have added three more players to their squad after bringing in Jon-Jo Bates on loan from Dagenham & Redbridge earlier this week.

Now manager Johnson Hippolyte has signed the much-travelled Jefferson Louis, defender Justin Clayton and striker Craig Faulconbridge.

Louis, joined Blue Square Bet Premier side Hayes & Yeading United after being released by Blue Square Bet North side Gainsborough Trinity in January upon his return from a three-month loan spell with Darlington.

Louis has also played for Oxford United, Woking, Bristol Rovers, Stevenage Borough, Havant & Waterlooville, Weymouth, Mansfield Town and Wrexham amongst others.

During his spell at Wrexham in 2008/09, Louis scored fifteen goals in thirty-eight games, signing for Crawley Town the following summer.

The speedy 31-year-old joined Gainsborough in June 2010 Trinity`s boss Brian Little having known him from his time at Wrexham.

Louis has plenty of Football League and non-League experience, and spent the latter half of last season on loan with Rushden & Diamonds.

Hippolyte has also signed former Southend United player Justin Clayton.

Clayton, a 6' 5" central defender, signed for the now sadly defunct Windsor & Eton in August 2010.

He previously featured on loan for Blue Square Bet South side St Albans City from Southend after being on Reading and Woking`s books as a youngster.

Faulconbridge is an experienced striker, who joins the Magpies on loan from league rivals Woking/

He signed for the Cards from Ryman League Premier Division neighbours Carshalton Athletic in early March 2010. His goals helped propel the Robins to the play-offs last season.

He started his career at Coventry City, with loan spells at Dunfermline Athletic and Hull City.

He joined Wrexham in 1999, making over 100 appearances, before transferring to Wycombe Wanderers in 2002, going on to make over fifty appearances.

He subsequently played for Wingate & Finchley and Oxford City before joining Carshalton.
