Bromley`s great start to the new Blue Square Bet South season continued on Bank Holiday Monday when they made it six wins from six games after beating Bishop`s Stortford at Woodside Park.

And the only goal of the game 14 minutes from time came courtesy of a Harrison Dunk own goal.

Braintree Town and Dover Athletic are both still unbeaten and on fourteen points, although the Iron were held to a goalless draw at Stonebridge Road by Ebbsfleet United.

Dover though were 1-0 winners at Crabble against Thurrock where Adam Birchall`s 18th minute penalty proved decisive.

Chelmsford City and Maidenhead United are both on twelve points from their six matches and both won on Monday.

City had a crowd of 1,111 for the Melbourne clash with Dartford and saw Billy Bricknell give them a 28th minute lead that Anthony Cook eventually added to 5 minutes from time.

The Magpies edged out St Albans City at York Road where former Windsor & Eton man Andrew Fagan gave the home side the lead 5 minutes after half time.

Ashley Smith made it 2-0 to the hosts with 15 minjtes to go, and they held on, despite Ryan Frater`s goal for the Saints a minute from the end of normal time.

Jamie Price`s goal on the half-hour mark proved to be the winner for Weston-super-Mare at Woodspring Park against Basingstoke Town, while the only other winners on the day were Welling United.

The Wings won 2-1 at Park View Road against Lewes, taking a 5th minute lead thanks to a Graeme Andrews spot-kick.

Andy Pugh doubled their advantage on 68 minutes, rendering Simon Wormull`s last-gasp penalty as just a consolation.

Boreham Wood shared a goalless draw with Woking at Meadow Park, as did Farnborough with Staines Town at Cherrywood Road, and there were 2-2 outcomes at both the Beveree and at Westleigh Park.

All the goals at the Beveree against Dorchester Town came in the final 20 minutes or so, with Dave Tarpey breaking the deadlock for the home side on 69 minutes.

Matty Groves equalised for the visitors 4 minutes later and then less than 3 minutes on Ryan Moss made it 2-1 for the Magpies, only for Lawrence Yaku to restore parity a minute after that.

Sammy Igoe gave Havant & Waterlooville the lead after 28 minutes against Eastleigh, whose Jamie Slabber levelled right on half time.

Mustafa Tyriaki gave the Hawks the lead again with 8 minutes to go, but Chris Holland grabbed the Spitfires a point in stoppage time.
