Dartford Whites lifted the Football Conference Youth Alliance Championship Play-Off Final Trophy after beating Bromley Blues 5 - 2 at Rushden & Diamonds` Nene Park on Tuesday evening in a hard fought contest.
The scoreline perhaps flattered Dartford with two goals in the closing few minutes, but they ended as worthy Champions.
Bromley had the better of the opening exchanges, with Calvin Headley heading against the post within the opening 4 minutes. As they pressed forward, they went in front on 12 minutes as Andrew Williams' dangerous ball into the area was forced home by Kyle Farrar.
The goal sparked Dartford into action and just three minutes later, they were level when a quick throw in the left saw Connor Heffernan play the ball into the middle for Jack Pallen to fire home from 20 yards.
Two goals in 2 minutes put Dartford in the driving seat as Ryan Goulding converted Heffernan's free kick, and a cross from Gregg Benbow was headed home by Jake Burman.
Bromley pressed forward in the second half, and pulled one back on 64 minutes when Farrar turned in a shot from Billy Holland.
Four minutes from time however, Dartford made the game safe as Adam Birchell surged forward down the right and turned the ball back from the by-line for Benbow to side-foot past keeper Jack Rankin. Pallen added a fifth deep into added time with another strike from the edge of the area, to secure the Trophy.
