Grimsby Town manager Neil Woods has agreed a new contract to lead the club into their first Blue Square Bet Premier campaign.
Former first-team coach Woods took up his first managerial role in October following the sacking of Mike Newell.
It was unclear whether he would remain in charge after overseeing the club's relegation from the Football League for the first time in 99 years.
However, it was revealed at a press conference at Blundell Park on Wednesday morning that his contract had been extended.
"I have agreed a new contract and I am very pleased," said Woods.
"Everyone knows I wanted to stay and I feel there is a lot of unfinished business to do as we look to rebuild the club.
"There is a lot of talking to be done and I have spoken to all the players available as we start to look to next season now. We are looking at big changes."
