Braintree Town have re-signed popular right winger Robbie Martin following his release by Blue Square South rivals Havant & Waterlooville.
Martin originally joined Braintree in July 2005 after coming through Watford’s youth system, and enjoyed a successful three-season stint with the Iron, firstly in the Ryman Premier and then the Blue Square South.
He joined the Hawks in October 2008 while convalescing after a serious knee injury, and made four starting and fifteen substitute appearances last season.
The 25-year-old, a member of the Iron`s 2006 championship-winning squad, completed the necessary paperwork late on Friday afternoon and made his second 'debut' coming on as a second half substitute in the 1-0 defeat at Newport County on Saturday.
