Dave Mehew, manager of Blue Square North club Gloucester City, has completed the signing of Lee Molyneaux.
Molyneaux, 26, who had been at Clevedon Town earlier in the season, played for Cirencester Town before that so is well acquainted with the Corinium Stadium that Cith currently share.
The tough-tackling defender graduated through Portsmouth's youth ranks, before playing for Weymouth and Ireland's Derry City.
He then went on to sign a professional contract at Oxford United where he played twenty-five League matches.
Spells Basingstoke Town, Cirencester, and Forest Green Rovers followed before joining Clevedon last year.
Mehew said: “I have done a deal with Lee until the end of the season, and he goes straight into the squad for the match against Solihull Borough on Tuesday.
“I would like to place on record my thanks to Paul West and Evesham United, who signed Lee only last week, but agreed to waive the seven-day notice period to allow us to sign Lee quickly.”
Meanwhile, Mehew announced that he has placed Lee Marshall on the transfer list.
Mehew said: “I would like to thank Lee for his commitment to the club since he arrived, but at times he has been struggling, and I believe Conference Regional football may have come just a little early in his career, perhaps its time to step back and consolidate a little.
“We will be looking for a small fee for Lee as he is a contracted player.”
