Hunt Remains a Loan Tiger
14 January 2010 11:45:00

Blue Square North club Gloucester City have extended striker Ben Hunt`s loan deal from Coca-Cola League One side Bristol Rovers.

The former West Ham United youth player will remain with the Tigers until the end of February.

With a run of trips up the M5 in coming weeks manager Dave Mehew said keeping Hunt was a welcomed boost as Gloucester look to continue their Blue Square North campaign.

Hunt scored on his debut away at Redditch United on December 26th and Mehew is hoping to see more goals from the youngster who has made a dozen substitute appearances in the league for the Gas last season.

Mehew said the link with his former club was paying dividends for Gloucester, who also have goalkeeper Mike Green on a season long loan and brought defender Alex Kite for a brief spell last year.
