In the only Blue Square North game of Monday night, Hyde United moved out of the bottom three after sharing a 1-1 draw with mid-table Ilkeston Town at Ewen Fields.
The struggling hosts had started well but Ilkeston gradually took over midway through the half.
Scunthorpe loanee Matt Godden, skipper Gary Ricketts and defender Charlie O`Loughlin all went close for the Reds before they eventually made the breakthrough after 36 minutes.
O`Loughlin headed on a corner and fellow centre half Luke Waterfall (pictured) fired the ball home.
Visiting keeper Dan Lowson had to field a few back-passes as the Tigers lacked any teeth, but all that changed after the break.
Defender Mark Lees headed just over, Tom Manship had an effort saved by Dan Lowson and winger Kevin Holsgrove had a shot drift just wide.
And it came as little surprise when the relegation battlers were level with 14 minutes left to play - substitute Scott Mooney`s low shot beating Lowson.
Holsgrove got free on the left and went down between two opponents. The referee gave a free kick, from which Scott McNiven fired wide.
Josh Burge nearly won it for the visitors in the last minute, but his lob was pushed over the bar by a back-pedalling Michael Jones in the Hyde goal.
