Blue Square North club Fleetwood Town have signed Blackburn Rovers youngster Michael Hall for a one month loan period.
The left-sided player has featured for the Premiership reserves this term and is a former captain of the Ewood Park under-18 side.
Blackpool-based Hall (pictured), 18, goes straight into the squad for Tuesday night’s FA Cup replay against Kidderminster Harriers at Highbury.
Manager Micky Mellon said: “Michael has already trained with us and comes as a result of our good relationship with Rovers. There’s tough competition for a starting jersey at Fleetwood and he will be in contention for the cup replay just like everybody else in the squad.”
Meanwhile, right-back Ashley Wooliscroft has moved to Blue Square North rivals Stafford Rangers for a one month loan period.
Wooliscroft started the first six games of the season but lost his place to Shaun Beeley.
Mellon added: “Ashley has gone to Stafford for match practise and to maintain his fitness. I expect him to come back and keep young Beeley under pressure. It suits both clubs and the important thing is seeing Ashley match ready.”
Former Blackpool midfielder Claus Jorgensen has left Fleetwood after a handful of appearances.
The manager explained: “It’s a purely logistical decision. We had a good relationship but needed to have a conversation after Claus moved to Warwickshire. The move made it difficult for Claus to attend training as the travel time was too difficult. He’s a good player and a good pro. He goes with our best wishes.”
