Fleet Allow Lindie to Leave
22 October 2009 10:27:00

Ebbsfleet United striker James Lindie has left the Blue Square Premier club after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

The 19-year-old former Southend United centre forward has been limited to just six appearances for the Fleet this season after a succession of ankle and back injuries, with three of them coming from the bench.

Lindie was on the scoresheet in the club's first game of the season against Altrincham, but has failed to score in the other five games in which he played.

Fleet manager Liam Daish has made no secret of the fact he wants to ship some players out of his squad so as he can bring new players in.
