Five For Fleet

Liam Daish, manager of Blue Square Premier club Ebbsfleet United, has confirmed the signing of five players ahead of the new season.
Following members raising over £12,000, forward Ricky Shakes rejoins Ebbsfleet and in addition, Daish has signed four players who have all been on trial at the club - Jordan Collins (left-back), James Lindie (centre forward), Ishmael Welsh (left-wing) and Jamie Forshaw (right midfield/forward).
The five players have each been given contracts for the 2009/10 season.
Daish continues to negotiate with several other triallists who have impressed, as well as with Dean Pooley, who was with the Fleet last season, and is hopeful of news of more signings within the next seven days.
