Two in at Chester
17 October 2009 12:25:00

Blue Square Premier club Chester City have signed Barnsley striker Michael Coulson on a month's loan.

Jim Harvey's side have also brought in Blackburn Rovers` youngsters Johnny Flynn on a similar loan deal.

City, twenty-four points adrift of safety, are without suspended duo Nick Chadwick and Glenn Rule for the next three games.

And ex-Scarborough striker Coulson, 22, and Irish defender Flynn (pictured), 19, have been brought in to plug the gap.

New Chester chairman Ian Anderson said: "We have completed the signing of Michael Coulson from Barnsley and completed the loan transfer of Jonathan Flynn from Blackburn Rovers late on Friday."

Following the return of Mark Beesley to the Deva Stadium last week, the duo will take new City boss Harvey's signings to three since his appointment on October 6th.
