Midfielder Clark Keltie has joined Blue Square Premier club Chester City after terms were agreed with his parent club, Rochdale, on Friday.
The move takes Keltie to the Deva Stadium for a month and he made his debut in the cross-border derby at Wrexham on Sunday.
Keltie joined Rochdale from Darlington in the summer of 2008. A central midfielder, he spent seven years in the North-East, before being released at the end of the 2007/08 season.
He made over 100 appearances for the Quakers in that time, scoring eleven goals.
He started his first season with Dale as part of the first choice pairing alongside Gary Jones, but suspension saw him lose his place to Ciaran Toner.
He featured in the middle again when Jones picked up an injury, and had successful runs alongside Toner and Mark Jones, helping Dale push for automatic promotion.
