Weymouth stopped the rot of four straight defeats in the Blue Square South on Wednesday night with an impressive draw at high-flying, unbeaten, Newport County at Spytty Park in front of a crowd of 1,509.
It was a tale of two Reids as the Exiles’ Craig Reid opened the scoring as early as the 2nd minute before Weymouth’s Jake Reid (pictured), who came on as a substitute just past the half-hour mark, equalised 20 minutes from time.
Craig Reid would have ended the game the happier of the two men though, had his first half penalty not been saved by visiting keeper Ryan Harrison.
