Blue Square North club Northwich Victoria have brought in two loan players ahead of Tuesday night`s game at AFC Telford United.
Declan Edwards maked the short trip from Coca-Cola League One side Stockport County, while making an even shorter journey is midfielder or defender Stephen Vaughan from Blue Square Premier neighbours Chester City.
Edwards (pictured) signed for County in the summer of 2008 from St Joseph's in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland having played for County on trial against Manchester United in the Manchester Senior Cup in 2007.
He has played for Leinster Boys and played in the Republic of Ireland under-18 Schools Centenary Shield win in March 2008.
In February, 2008 he joined League of Ireland side Galway United on loan, scoring his first goal from the spot in a 2-0 friendly win over UCD and his Stockport debut came as a substitute against Bristol Rovers in last month.
Vaughan, son of the club`s owner of the same name, started his career at Liverpool. He was released in 2004 having played over seventy reserve games and also represented England at under-15, 17 and under-19 level.
He was soon signed by then League Two side Chester under the guidance of Mark Wright and quickly became a regular at the Deva Stadium.
At the start of the 2006/07 season he was made Chester's captain at the young age of 21. He made fifty-eight League appearances.
In January 2007 new Rochdale manager Keith Hill made Vaughan his first signing, initially on loan with a view to a permanent deal. However, Boston United signed him on a one-year contract and he made seven appearances for the Pilgrims before rupturing his Achilles tendon against Hartlepool, which sidelined him for nine-months.
When fully recovered he rejoined Chester in February 2008 and was loaned out to Droylsden for a month as part of a rehabilitation programme.
