Blue Square Premier club Crawley Town have signed defender Dominic Collins and midfielder Adam Barton from Coca-Cola Championship side Preston North End on month-long loans.
The 18-year-olds have completed the paperwork and are likely to be included in a depleted squad, missing six players, for the trip to Luton Town on Tuesday.
Manager Steve Evans told the club website: "I am grateful to Preston boss Alan Irvine.
"I have known him many years. He is a great judge of a player and he rates both lads highly."
"Dominic Collins is a 6`2” talented central defender. He is very good in the air, has good pace and is highly rated at Deepdale. This loan deal will be of great benefit to him.
"Adam is a 6`3” ball-playing midfielder who has been allocated a first-team squad number at Deepdale - another youngster who is highly regarded by Alan Irvine."
