Lea Joins Chester

Chester City manager Mick Wadsworth has made his first signing with the capture of defender Michael Lea, who was recently released by Coca-Cola League One side Scunthorpe United.

The 21-year-old was signed by the Iron from Manchester United last summer but failed to break into the first-team setup at Glanford Park, making just three starts.

Lea, who suffered with injuries last season, will now be hoping for a fresh start with the Cestrians.
