Crawley Town manager Steve Evans has confirmed that no deal has yet been agreed for the transfer of striker Charlie Ademeno.
The Reds` boss has been in constant dialogue with MK Dons, Swindon Town, Southampton and an unnamed Scottish Premier League team over the last few days and those discussions continue as the clock moves closer to the closing of the transfer window.
Ademeno broke Conference Premier all time records when he recently netted a super hat trick in just 4 minutes and 12 seconds – amazing!
The lightening quick striker is attracting a host of attention and is non leagues hottest property. He hit the net again on Saturday and produced a super all round performance as a number of admiring clubs looked on.
Evans said: “It would be fair to say that four very decent football clubs all have a significant interest in Charlie. If you are an interested club and have had him watched recently you would be trying to get hold of him.
“The interest in the lad should come as no surprise to anyone. He is lightening quick, strong, moves well and scores goals so I would expect the likes of Paul Ince, Danny Wilson and Alan Pardew to be interested.
“The Scottish Premier League boss who has been in contact has requested his interest remain confidential at this stage, that request has been granted.
“Each of the clubs mentioned have been told privately where we value Charlie and at present that valuation has not been met by any club, but that of course may change.
“Charlie has been kept fully in the picture of what is going on and he is getting on with the job of preparing to play at Kettering Town on Saturday. He looked very sharp in training today and he hit the back of the net four times in the practice match we had, his finishing was classy and sublime.
“My discussions with a number of clubs will continue and if there is any news it will be released as and when.”
