Telford Strike Play-Off Blow to Steelmen

Despite the fog and mist that threatened Wednesday night`s Blue Square North fixture between Corby Town and AFC Telford United taking place at all, the hosts received a massive blow to their play-off hopes with a 2-1 defeat at the Rockingham Triangle
Telford took the lead on 25 minutes when defender Gavin Cowan rose to glance home Sean Evans' free kick.
The visitors' took a firmer grip on the game with 15 minutes remaining when recentl signing Damien Reeves fired into the roof of the net.
Corby managed a last-minute consolation through Steve Towers but it was too little too late for the Steelmen.
