Conal Platt fired home an injury-time winner as Forest Green Rovers clinched their place in the FA Cup Second Round with a 2-1 win at Blue Square Premier rivals Mansfield Town on Tuesday night.
The former Liverpool trainee had opened the scoring just 5 minutes before the break with an exquisite free kick.
Kyle Perry nodded the Stags level with 20 minutes remaining but Platt (pictured) popped up at the death to win the tie.
Rovers will now face a tricky trip to Blue Square South neighbours Bath City, who put out Coca-Cola League Two side Grimsby at Blundell Park in the First Round.
Louis Dodds fired Port Vale into Second Round, courtesy of a narrow 1-0 victory at Blue Square Premier Stevenage Borough.
The former Leicester City man got the winner midway through the first half in a hard-fought encounter at Broadhall Way.
Stevenage were determined to put on show for the home fans, but after losing out at home to Rotherham last weekend, Port Vale were keen to bounce back in style. And they made the perfect start as Dodds escaped the attention of his markers to head the visitors ahead with 24 minutes on the clock.
Marc Richards then flashed a fierce effort wide of the Boro goal as Vale began to turn the screw just before the break.
Whatever Westley said to his men at the interval seemed to re-invigorate the home side and Charlie Griffin fired just inches wide of the far post as Stevenage threatened an equaliser.
They came even closer just 2 minutes later as Mitchell Cole ran clear on goal only for his left-footed effort to bounce agonisingly against the post with Vale keeper Chris Martin beaten.
It was Yemi Odubade who had the next chance as Andy Drury flashed Cole’s cross against goal but the former Oxford man failed to get the vital touch.
With time running out, Stevenage began to bombard the Vale backline and Griffin came within a whisker of prodding home from close range after neat work by Odubade.
Vale were on the ropes and Cole drilled another thunderous effort just wide of Martin’s goal as Boro laid siege to the visitors’ goal.
But Micky Adams’ men held on to book a home tie with League One Huddersfield in the next round.
Coca-Cola League One side Brentford ended Blue Square Premier club Gateshead's FA Cup dream by beating the Tynesiders 5-2.
The Bees earned a Second Round home tie against Walsall by cruising to victory at Griffin Park with two goals each from former non-League marksman Charlie Macdonald and Myles Weston.
Ben Strevens also hit the net for the home side, while Graeme Armstrong struck twice for Ian Bogie's side who had been dreaming of a giantkilling after drawing the original tie 2-2 at the International Stadium.
Strevens swept home the first after 42 minutes and Macdonald completed an excellent move by heading home Cleveland Taylor's cross just before half time.
Gateshead made the home team sweat a little when Armstrong drilled a shot across keeper Lewis Price for 2-1 but Macdonald's second, expertly finished following a strong run through the middle from Marcus Bean, effectively sealed the result.
Weston, however, still had time to make a headline for himself - scoring from 30 yards with a piledriver that almost burst the net before tapping in a fifth. And Armstrong's late goal, a carbon copy of his first, was never going to count for much.
