Blue Square South club Welling United have signed experienced midfielder Daniel Spiller from Coca-Cola League One side Wycombe Wanderers.
Spiller joined the Wanderers after impressing during a one-week trial ahead of the 2009/10 season, bolstering a squad battered by injuries across the midfield.
He arrived at Adams Park on non-contract terms for one-month, meaning he was eligible to play in all the Chairboys fixtures until September 6th.
A central midfielder equally comfortable as a forward, Spiller began his career with Gillingham and made over 120 appearances for the Gills, even picking up a player of the season accolade at the climax of the 2003/04 campaign.
He was subject to interest from West Ham United before eventually moving to Millwall in 2007, though his time at the New Den was greatly restricted by injury.
