Four New Saints
05 August 2009 10:20:00

Four more players have signed for Blue Square South club St Albans City ahead of the new season.

Strikers Daniel Chillingworth and Drew Roberts along with central defender Jason Mitchell and midfielder Danny Green have all put pen-to-paper for the Saints.

Chillingworth (pictured) originally joined St Albans on loan from Rushden & Diamonds in December 2007 but was troubled by injury following his arrival, restricting him to just two substitute appearances.

He has played for both Cambridge clubs, United and City, as well as loan spells with Notts County, Leyton Orient and Darlington.

Roberts has previous experience with Bedford Town, Aylesbury United, Kettering Town, Barton Rovers, Histon and Hemel Hempstead Town, whom he wcored against in a recent pre-season friendly for the Saints.

Green makes the short move from troubled Ryman League Division One North neighbours Harlow Town, while 21-year-old Mitchell has joined from another Division One North outfit, Maldon Town, after impressing in pre-season.
