New Number Two for Saints

St Albans City have announced that Steve Castle has agreed terms with Mark Peters, who will now take on the role of player/assistant-manager.
Peters is currently a UEFA`B` licensed coach and will soon acquire his `A` accreditation.
He is also an experienced centre back and as named player of the year at King`s Lynn last season in the Blue Square North.
Peters started his career with Manchester City and made over 350 League appearances and also had a spell with Cambridge United in the Conference.
Peters will also coach at Oaklands with the youth academy, where he will take on the role recently vacated by Andy Edwards.
