Dorchester Town Football Club are pleased to announce that Leon Osei has agreed terms initially on a short term contract that will extend his stay with The Magpies into the new season.
The 20 year old former QPR and Stevenage player has spent the pre-season training full time with the club and has made a big impression on manager Shaun Brooks in the friendly games so far
Speaking earlier today on the capture of the young midfielder on a more permanent basis he said: "Leon has heaps of raw talent that is just waiting to be nurtured and I look forward to seeing what else we can get from him.
"He is a big strong lad and has a good turn of pace which can take him past players easily.
"If he gets his head down and continues to work hard I think he could be a real find for us."
Osei who also has non league experience in the Ryman league with both Leyton and Wingate & Finchley was equally excited about joining the club. He said: "I am really looking forward to having a good season with Dorchester.
"We have a great set of lads here and I am looking to set the place on fire with the rest of the team and giving our supporters plenty to cheer about.
"The training has been fantastic and I would like to thank the Gaffa for giving me this opportunity and also Nathan Peprah for introducing me to the club."
