tamworth kettering southport and altricham should be forced to go part time it stops other clubs having a fair go at promotion if clubs at this level stay or go full time. if telford on average gates next year of around 2500 (600+ season ticket sales and counting)cant afford how can they remember scarborough.

Will Andy Mutch do anything to help Vauxhall? Can he stop the club losing too many more players? Can he help to bring any more players in? Have they got any chance at all this coming season?

After the pathetic performance of Man U and Chelsea what a treat of football we had at the Conference final. As an Exeter supporter I regret to have to say that the best team won but they were both a credit to British football. The very best of luck to Morecambe and Exeter in the future.

Congratulations to Droylsden who have now achieved their greatest status in well over 50 years. They were frustrated in the playoffs the last two seasons despite being streets in front of those who won the playoffs in the league placings, now they have proved their worth the right way by taking the north division championship. Mind you they won't last long unless they can strengthen that defence - just look at the goals against column, this has also been the story for the past 2/3 years. It;s no use have brilliant forwards if you cannot keep a tight ship at the back. Nevertheless well done boys, let;s have another entertaining season 07/08.

In the interest of justice being seen to be done, lets hope that Boston do get a 10 point penalty for next season. What is the point in any rule if pulling this sort of stunt actully means that no punishment ensues.

I am really pleased to see Oxford loosing out in the play-offs. Exeter are a far better team and deserve to be in League Two - Oxford don't. Oxford fans, right from the beginning of the season kept on telling everyone else that they would walk the Conference, now they have at least one more season in the Conference National - unless they drop down into Nationwide South. Face up to it Oxford Fans - you are just not good enough to play in League Two - that's why you are in the Conference National

Pete (Oxford)
Well, I must say well done to Exeter on a brilliant finish to their semi-finals - as soon as the game began i knew that Oxford wouldnt get it - and having been an Oxford supporter all of my life, that is hard to digest. So, good luck to Exter & Morecambe on 20th! The Conference is a great league, but I would have loved it if we went into L2 - im not complaining about another year in the Blue Square Premier - just L2 would have been preferable! Well done E & M!

The only team that deserved to go up was the daggers, we are only a small pub team from essex but man are we good, oxford had thier chance and totally blew it, i hope boston go down and thier £1 million pound debt is payback for the daggers for when boston went up when it should have been us, come on you daggers

I just want to put on record my congratulations to Phil Robinson and the players of Stafford Rangers for surviving in the Conference.Phil has done a tremendous job in turning this club around since he has been here.My only fear is that he will be poached but I would not hold it against him,he deserves better than the general lack of support from some fussy fans and as for the local council, why are they not proud to have a football team in the top flight of non-league.Well done Robbo

Who are the best young defenders in the Conference this season and who in particular that is not going up or involved in the play offs, should get the chance to play at a higher level professionally?
