Lechmere Joins Iron

Rod Stringer, manager of Blue Square Bet South club Braintree Town, has added another player to his squad.
The club have signed 20-year-old Sam Lechmere, who has impressed in pre-season, having played for both Yeovil Town and Grays Athletic last season.
Stringer was pleased with his latest addition: "Sam's done really well for us so far and has worked really hard. He's got tremendous potential and now needs to push on and challenge himself to be in our side week in week out!"
The Iron have also agreed to send a side to Ryman League Division One North side Redbridge on Monday, 9th August (7.45pm).
