Record Run for Badgers
02-05-2011 09:31

Eastwood Town proudly became the sole holders of the Blue Square Bet North longest unbeaten record after an entertaining game in Yorkshire on Saturday.

Having drawn level with Southport and Solihull Moors on Easter Monday, they came from behind to draw 2-2 at play-off bound Guiseley.

The Badgers took an early lead through Andy Todd but the home side hit back through Simon Baldry and James Walshaw.

However, Eastwood dominated the second half and shrugged off a missed penalty to equalise through Adrian Hawes to secure the draw to extend their run to nineteen matches.
