He has signed 22-year-old French midfielder Kevin Da Veiga Monteiro (pictured).
The pair were together at Welsh Premier League outfit Airbus UK Broughton.
Monteiro, who was born in Lyon, came to the UK in the summer of 2015 to
further his career, and he joined FC United of Manchester before signing for
Airbus in January 2016.
Monteiro will be available for this weekend`s trip to Woking once secretary
Ken Hilton receives international clearance from the FA of Wales.
Also joining Port is 28-year-old Lindon Meikle on loan from league rivals
Meikle signed for Barrow in May 2016.
He began his career for Eastwood Town under current Barrow manager Paul Cox
where he made seventy-nine appearances and scored 29 goals.
He was part of the squad under Cox that won two promotions making their way
into the Conference (National League) North.
He then moved onto Mansfield Town, again under Cox, where he made 113
appearances scoring 12 goals.
He was part of the Stags` squad that won promotion into the Football League
and also earned 3 caps for the England C team.
Meikle then went onto have spells at York City, Macclesfield Town and
Alfreton Town before joining Barrow.
