Stevenage Borough hit four in the final 17 minutes of their Fourth Round Qualifying Replay with Horsham.
A 33rd minute strike from Horshams Lee Carney had looked enough to keep the home teams FA Cup dream alive, and going into the final twenty minutes, the Ryman League side must have hoped the 1-0 lead they’d taken in the first half would be enough to see them through to the First Round Proper.
It wasn’t to be.
The visitors to Woodside Road may have left it until late on to earn their place in the next stage of the Competition, but with four goals in 17 minutes, they did enough to secure themselves the money-spinning tie with League One promotion hopefuls Leicester City.
Goals from Daryl McMahon and Calum Willock came on 73 and 75 and Steve Morison took the score-line to 1-3 an 89th minute goal. Willock scored again in injury time and sealed the win for the Blue Square Premier Side.
