Dean Thomas, manager of Blue Square Bet North club Hinckley United, has added to his squad ahead of the new season by signing midfielders Jacob Blackwell and Lloyd Kerry.
Eighteen-year-old Blackwell has come from the academy at Coventry City and Kerry has made over forty League appearances for Chesterfield.
Kerry was originally signed by the Spireites on loan from Sheffield United in March 2006 and then on a two-year permanent deal in the following summer.
A combative, box-to-box midfielder, born in Chesterfield, Kerry had a spell on loan at Torquay United in 2007 that ended prematurely when he injured a foot and then with Hinckley`s league rivals Alfreton Town last term.
Thomas said: "Jacob has lots of potential and pace and Lloyd is energetic, a good passer and can play anywhere across the midfield.
“We will hopefully sign two or three more players before the start of the season - a forward, a centre half and or a wide player."
