Mansfield Town chairman Andy Perry will be making an official complaint to the Blue Square Premier over the decision to call off Saturday's match with Rushden & Diamonds.
With the sun appearing to clear away the heavy overnight frost, the referee called the game off at 11.50, with amble time still left for the pitch to thaw out.
It is a decision which left Perry fuming. Indeed he even went out onto the pitch at 1pm, and commented that he was livid that the game had been called off.
Even manager David Holdsworth was furious with the decision, saying that the official should have held off with his decision.
As to what the complaint will acheive, is another matter, with Perry writing to both the Football Conference and FA, to vent the clubs frustrations.
It hasn't helped with the Stags match with York City, planned for Tuesday, also being called off, with the Minsteren in FA Trophy action.
