There was only one game in Blue Square South on Wednesday evening, but it was a fiery affair between relegated Lewes and Thurrock that ended all-square in the end at 1-1.
But Lewes had Williams Peauroux and Chris Breach dismissed for second bookable offences along with Thurrock skipper Lee Flynn and visiting manager Hakan Hayrettin, while the Essex outfit also had five other players booked!
Dan Beck gave the Rooks the lead in the 12th minute with a fine half-volley from fully 25 yards.
Thurrock came back to equalise just 5 minutes later when Leon Lalite (pictured) shot from the edge of the box.
The game's first flashpoint camearound the hour-mark as Peauroux`s tackle on Matt Bodkin earned him a second yellow card and sparked a melee involving several players. Flynn also received a second caution for his part in the aftermath and Hayrettin was sent to the stands for something he said to the officials.
And Lewes ended the game with nine-men as Breach also received a second yellow for a late tackle on Bodkin.
