FA TROPHY: Quarter-final replays

Burton Albion are now the only representative from the Nationwide Conference left in the FA Trophy after Herford United and Gravesend & Northfleet were both eliminated in their quarter-final replays on Tuesday night.

Nationwide North side Hucknall Town beat the Bulls 1-0 at watnall Road, thanks to Danny Bacon's 31st minute goal, setting up a semi-final meeting with Nationwide South club Bishop's Stortford, who triumphed 3-2 over the Fleet after an exciting match at Stonebridge Road.

Jimmy Jackson, who put Gravesend ahead just before half time, seemed to have won the match for the home side with his 89th-minute effort, but Duane Jackman scored in the final minute to take the game into extra time. Steve Morrison then hit the winner for Stortford, as the Fleet were reduced to nine men, having had Matthew Lovell and Jay Saunders sent off.

Gravesend boss Liam Daish told BBC Radio Kent afterwards: "I'm pretty mentally drained and am just trying to get my head around the defeat. I'm finding it very hard to accept that we lost 3-2 and to be truthful it hasn't sunk in yet. This defeat is going to live with me and the players for a long time and I'm just gobsmacked."

The other semi-final is between Nationwide South leaders Grays Athletic and Burton Albion.
