GLS CUP 2004/05 COMPETITION RULES
1. All matches to be played on a single leg basis. Should a match end in a draw after 90 minutes two equal halves of 15 minutes extra time will be played, should the scores remain level at the conclusion of extra time a tie will be decided by Kicks from the Penalty mark in accordance with International Board Decisions.
2. Nationwide North and Nationwide South Member Clubs will enter the competition at the Preliminary Round stage.
3. Nationwide Conference Member Clubs will enter the competition at the Third Round stage.
4. All rounds drawn on a regional basis of Conference North and Conference South and regionalised up to and including the Semi-Finals.
5. All ties will be played on a cup tie basis for financial distribution. Match Day income from the attendance following all match expenses will be shared on a 50% basis by the two clubs. Should a match incur a loss the two clubs will share such loss on an equal basis.
6. All Football Conference Rules will apply for the Cup Competition.
7. All Players must be registered in accordance with Football Conference Rule 6 to be eligible to play in the Cup Competition.
8. The Final Tie will be played on a Ground Selected by the Football Conference with the two finalists sharing the balance of the Match Day attendance income following the deduction of all match expenses.
9. Clubs will be responsible for their own travel costs for all away Cup Competition matches.
10. The Finalist will receive 20 individual mementos for the players and the winning club will receive a trophy.
11. In all ties the Home Club shall within 14 days of a tie return to the Football Conference Office a fully completed balance sheet for the match on the form provided.
