NORTH: Worcester back in action

Having been without a game last week Worcester City return to action on Saturday when they travel to Southport for a Nationwide North encounter.

City will be without the injured Danny McDonnell, Barry Woolley, Jai Stanley and Christian Moore, while Adam Webster (Ankle) and Paul Carty (Calf) face late fitness tests.

Player-Coach John Snape and striker Mark Owen are fit however and both could make their first starts of the season. Young midfield player Luke Whittington, a product of the Club's Youth Development squad, is included in the party travelling to Merseyside. They are also hoping to have another goalkeeper registered in time.

City travel to Vauxhall Motors on Tuesday night for another Nationwide North game, which kicks off at 7.45pm.
