NORTH: Runcorn dispense with management team

Runcorn F C Halton announced on Tuesday evening that they had 'dispensed with the services of their managment team, Mr Chris Lightfoot and Mr Eddie Bishop due to poor performences and bad results over the last few matches.'

The club adds that a new manager will be announced in a couple of days.

Runcorn are currently 16th in the Nationwide North having won just four of their 13 matches this season, though they did secure a 2-1 victory over Altrincham in their last match, on Tuesday October 12th. They travel to Worksop on Saturday, in what looks likely to be the first game of the yet to be appointed manager's reign.
