FA CUP: Another home draw for Hornchurch
Hornchurch have been drawn at home in the fourth qualifying round of the F.A. Cup, following their 9-0 victory at home to Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday.
They will play Gravesend & Northfleet, who are currently fourth in the Nationwide Conference.
Last season Hornchurch reached the 2nd round proper of the FA Cup, before losing narrowly to Tranmere Rovers in front of a record attendance of 3,500.
The match will be played on Saturday October 30th at 3pm.
Meanwhile, Urchins favourite Wayne Purser is in the running for the prestigious FA Cup 'Player of the Round' award, run in partnership with UMBRO after this weekend's Third Qualifying Round fixtures.
Purser has been nominated following his hat-trick on Saturday against Dulwich Hamlet, taking his season's tally to fourteen goals.
Fans can vote for Wayne Purser, by logging on to the online-poll at www.TheFA.com - with the voting closing at 9.00am on Monday, October 25.
The player who secures the most votes will be crowned FA Cup 'Player of the Round' and will win £1000 worth of UMBRO football kit and equipment for a local school, club or organisation of his choice, plus an engraved silver salver.
The successful player will also join Bishop's Cleeve FC's Kevin Slack and AFC Wimbledon's Rob Ursell in The FA's Team of The FA Cup.
The team will be guaranteed VIP attendance at The FA Cup final at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday May 21, 2005 and a chance-of-a-lifetime introduction to the crowd, pitch side at half time.
The Team of The FA Cup will comprise Player of the Round winners from the First Qualifying round to the Semi Final. Last year's team included five non-league players as well as Premiership stars Jose Antonio Reyes, Freddie Ljungberg and Bruno Cheyrou.
