FA CUP: FOURTH QUALIFYING ROUND DRAW

Nationwide Conference clubs Carlisle and York have been drawn to meet in the Fourth Qualifying round of the FA Cup at the end of the month.

The two northern teams, who were both relegated from the Football League last season, have had contrasting starts to life in the Nationwide Conference, with The Cumbrians seemingly contenders for promotion and The Minstermen still finding their feet. But York will be hoping to spring an upset on their rivals at Brunton Park on October 30th.

Other all-Nationwide Conference ties in the final qualifying round before the first round proper, which will involve Football League clubs, include leaders Barnet against Farnborough and Dagenham &: Redbridge vs Crawley, while Accrington Stanley will face Leigh RMI for the second successive year.

The winners of these ties will not only earn themselves a shot at a Football League side in the first round proper, but will also pick up £10,000 prize money.
