NORTH: Hinckley star Dyer on international duty

Hinckley United midfielder Wayne Dyer is back on international duty after this weekend's game against Mossley in the FA Cup as he takes part in the Preliminary Round of the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

CONCACAF is UEFA's equivalent in America and the Caribbean, and Monstserrat, ranked 205th in the latest FIFA world rankings, play three games at this stage. They travel to St Kitts and Nevis on 27th October and then Antigua and Barbuda two days later before a home tie against St Lucia.

Dyer is captain of Montserrat and he'll be hoping for an improvement on his countries last outing when they were beaten 20-0 on aggregate by Bermuda in the World Cup qualifiers.

Dyer is expected to be back in England in time to play Stafford Rangers in the FA Trophy on 6th November.
