NORTH: Worcester play host to local rivals on Saturday
Worcester City entertain near neighbours Redditch United at St. George's Lane on Saturday in the Nationwide North looking to secure what will be their 3rd double of the season. City won 4-0 at the Valley Stadium, back in August.
Player-manager Andy Preece will return to the squad having missed the last 6 games with a rib injury, although Barry Woolley may be doubtful having picked up an foot injury in Wednesday night's 1-0 victory at Bradford (Park Avenue).
Coventry City - Admission prices
The prices for admission to Carl Heeley's Testimonial game against Coventry City on Thursday 24th March will be: Adults £7.00 and Concessions £3.00. Children will have an opportunity to gain admission for nothing, if they are accompanied by a paying adult, in a "kids go free" offer in conjunction with the Worcester Evening News.
Ticket prices held for next season
Worcester City have announced that their ticket prices for the 2005-06 season will be the same as they were for this year. However the discounted offer on season tickets begins on Saturday (19th March) which is earlier than in previous years. The prices are as follows: Discount before Sat 30th April: Ground Season Ticket Adult £150.00, Concession £70.00, Main Stand £170.00, Concession £90.00, Discount after 30th April, but before 1st July: Ground Adult £165.00, Concession £85.00, Main Stand Adult £185.00, Concession £105.00. Normal Full Price: Ground Adult £170.00, Concession £90.00, Main Stand Adult £190.00, Concession £110.00. Georgie Dragon (11 and under) £40.00 and Blue Dragon (12 to 16 year olds) £75.00. Both the Georgie Dragon and Blue Dragon memberships include a new replica club shirt. Ground Admission prices are Adults £9.00, Concession £5.00, while the Main Stand cost's Adults £10.00 and Concession £6.00.
Next trials day for Club's youth development scheme
The Club's next Youth Development trials will take place on Thursday 31st March from 10.00am - 1.00pm at St. George's Lane The trials which are for school leavers, who are looking to combine studies and playing football, are for the Club's Youth Development Scheme which is run in conjunction with the Worcester College of Technology.
