SOUTH: Johnson sacked by Weymouth
Nationwide South club Weymouth have sacked their manager Steve Johnson, just four-and-a-half months after his appointment.
Steve, the brother of Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson, succeeded Steve Claridge in the post in October, with the aim of taking the club into the play-offs this season.
However, The Terras have won just one of their last seven Nationwide South matches, and were beaten 1-0 at Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday, leaving them 11th in the table, ten points adrift of the play-off places with ten games to go.
