NORTH: Lyons leaves Worcester

Midfielder Pat Lyons has become the second player to leave St. George's Lane this week, following the earlier departure of Colin Hoyle.

Lyons, who joined the Club in May 2002, has been unable to command a place in the starting line-up in recent weeks and, in view of this, Manager Andy Preece has agreed to release him

Ilkeston Town is his likely destination, where he would join former City players Allan Davies, Phil Stant - the club's manager - and Hoyle.
